词源记忆法
约1200年，源自斯堪的纳维亚语(古斯堪的纳维亚语þeir，古丹麦语，古瑞典语þer， þair)，原为阳性复数指示代词，源自古日耳曼语*泰语，主格复数代词。大约在1400年逐渐取代了古英语的hi, hie, he的复数形式，heo的复数形式，she的复数形式，hit的复数形式。说白了就是，用一个单词they替代了什么he、she、it啥的从而表示复数指代概念。

单词解说
1、they是第三人称的复数形式，无性别之分，代表已提到过的一些人或事，在句中多用作主语，通常放在它所指代的名词之后，偶尔也可放在它所指代的词之前。
有时为了避免显露性别，they也可以代替he,she或it。
they后可接whom等引导的定语从句。
2、they是主格，只能做主语，放在谓语动词或系动词前。
但they前面如果是介词，则要改为them(宾格)。
请大家记住：
介宾这两个字，也就是介词后面要加宾格（宾语），所以介词后面如果接代词，都得接这个代词的宾格形式；介词后面如果接动词都得把动词改为动名词（动词+ing），因为动词原形不能做宾语，而动名词却可以。
